At A Better Life Therapy in New Hope, we specialize in couples therapy to guide you and your partner through difficult times and help you create a more fulfilling relationship.
2. What is Intensive Couples Therapy, and How Does It Work?
Intensive couples therapy is a focused, immersive approach that allows couples to address deep-rooted issues in a condensed time frame—typically over 2-3 days. This intensive format helps couples make significant progress in a short period, making it ideal for those dealing with major relationship challenges or crises. Our therapists in New Hope, PA tailor each session to the couple’s specific needs, ensuring a customized experience that maximizes healing and growth. This therapy can help couples overcome obstacles such as trust issues, infidelity, and communication struggles.
5. What Types of Individual Therapy Do You Offer?
At A Better Life Therapy, we offer a range of individual therapy services tailored to meet your specific needs. Our therapists specialize in treating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. We use evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to help you build coping skills, improve mental health, and navigate difficult life circumstances. Whether you're seeking support for personal growth or working through a challenging time, our compassionate therapists are here to help you heal and thrive.
5. What Should I Expect During My First Therapy Session?
During your first session at A Better Life Therapy, you’ll meet with one of our experienced therapists to discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations for therapy. The initial session typically focuses on gathering background information and understanding your current challenges. Our therapists will work with you to develop a plan that is tailored to your specific needs, whether it’s individual therapy or couples counseling. We aim to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment to help you feel comfortable and understood from the very start.

7. How Long Does Therapy Take, and How Often Will We Meet?
The length of therapy depends on the issues you’re facing and your personal goals. Couples therapy typically starts with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, although the frequency may vary depending on the severity of the challenges you’re experiencing. For individual therapy, sessions are often scheduled weekly, but we can adjust this based on your needs. Intensive couples therapy usually takes place over 2-3 days, meeting for several hours each day, to focus on resolving issues in a concentrated period of time. We work with you to determine the best approach to meet your needs.
8. How Much Does Couples Therapy or Individual Therapy Cost?
At A Better Life Therapy, our pricing is based on the provider you see rather than the type of therapy. Whether you're seeking couples therapy or individual therapy, the cost remains the same. We do not accept insurance directly, but we can provide you with the necessary superbill (a receipt with the required information) to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. This allows you to potentially receive reimbursement for some of the costs, depending on your insurance plan. For more details on pricing or to discuss payment options, please contact us directly.
