Meet Kenna
Kenna Mellinger, MFT
“Every relationship tells a story, and every person deserves a space where they feel understood, supported, and accepted.”
Hi! I'm Kenna, a Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe healing happens through our relationships—with ourselves, our partners, our families, and the world around us. Using a systemic approach, I help individuals, couples, and families better understand the patterns that shape their lives and relationships while creating meaningful, lasting change.
My style is direct, authentic, and compassionate. I value curiosity, honesty, and humor, believing that laughter can be just as healing as insight. Whether we're exploring lifelong patterns or bonding over a pop culture reference, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self.
Couples Therapy
Working with couples is one of my greatest passions. I enjoy supporting couples across all stages of their relationship as they navigate betrayal, infidelity, intimacy and sexual concerns, differences in desire, compulsive sexual behaviors, pornography concerns, relationship agreements, and communication challenges.
Using a Gottman Method lens, I help couples strengthen communication, manage conflict, rebuild trust, and foster emotional attunement. My goal is to help partners better understand one another, remain curious, and create healthier patterns of connection.
I provide an LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, kink/BDSM-affirming, and polyamory-friendly space where all identities and relationship structures are welcomed and respected.
Family Therapy
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I enjoy working with families through conflict, behavioral concerns, parenting challenges, divorce, blended family dynamics, and life transitions. Together, we work to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build healthier ways of supporting one another.
Individual Therapy
I work with individuals from all walks of life experiencing anxiety, depression, identity exploration, betrayal trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, trauma, and sexual identity or compulsive sexual behavior concerns. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking greater self-awareness, therapy can provide a space to slow down, process your experiences, and move toward the life you want to build.
You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, strengthen your relationships, and create lasting change that feels authentic to you.
