If you’re here, you likely are having a worry about your precious child. Perhaps you’ve noticed behavioral changes, maybe they are struggling to make friends at school, perhaps they’ve recently experienced a big loss - a loved one has died or there has been separation or divorce in the family - maybe they’ve been more angry than normal. Perhaps you can’t put your finger on it, but something just doesn’t feel right and you want to get them the support they deserve.

I am a former Montessori teacher, who has spent my life focused on the gifts of the child and also the challenges they face and how to best guide and support them toward understanding their feelings, navigating the challenges they face, and to feel better and more connected. I am also a parent who understands how hard it is to see your child struggle and how powerless it can feel. I hope our work together will not only feel supportive to your child, but also to you.

I “treat” children, not a diagnosis. I spend time getting to know the story of them through you and by observing and playing with them. In my eyes, they are a unique individual worthy of the time to get to know them. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and educational. Empowering for children and caregivers alike.

I am trained in Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, and mindfulness - these three therapy types are child friendly (and child centered).

As the child exists within a family, this type of therapy includes the primary caregiver(s). The first session is always done with the caregiver(s) without the child present so that I can take a full family history.

Play therapy is dedicated to bringing more awareness, peace, clarity and balance into your family. Utilizing conversation, art, movement, play, stillness and music, I remind your child, and family of the peace that is possible.
