"Over the past two weeks, how many moments of peace, joy and contentment have you experienced?"

You’re on my page because something is weighing on you - whether it’s racing thoughts that keep you up at night, waves of anxiety that hit without warning, anger that feels hard to manage, or the quiet drain of grief and loss. Maybe you’re navigating a major life transition, learning to live with chronic illness or pain (emotional or physical), or you’re a highly sensitive person or empath who feels everything deeply and needs space to breathe again. Parenting challenges, spiritual awakenings, or simply the sense that “something needs to change” can also bring you here.

I’m a mindful therapist who truly listens. I don’t treat diagnoses—I treat people. Together we’ll gently explore your story and discover practical, simple tools that fit your real life. My approach blends mindfulness (which I’ve practiced for over 25 years) with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered care, and solution-focused strategies. When helpful, we can also draw from functional and integrative health perspectives to support your whole self.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before we begin. My style is intuitive, educational, and empowering. Many clients come to me feeling like they’ve tried everything and still feel stuck. What we create together is a calm, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, learn new ways to respond to stress, and begin to feel more grounded and resilient, even when external life remains difficult.

I offer sessions as early as 6 AM and on weekends to help people make therapy work within their schedule.

If you’re ready to stop struggling alone and start moving toward more peace and clarity, I’d be honored to hear your story. Please read more below for my specialties.

Who I work with:

I work with individuals, couples and children. In our work together, we will build on your strengths and cultivate the insight and resilience you need to move forward. While I work with people struggling with many challenges, I also have special training and focus on the areas below.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY FOR HIGHLY SENSITIVE PEOPLE AND EMPATHS

You’ve likely felt this way for as long as you can remember, deeply affected by the emotions, energies, and stimuli around you. Sounds feel louder, emotions hit stronger, and you may absorb the feelings of others without even trying. Social situations can leave you drained, and you might often wonder why it seems so much harder for you to “just handle it” like other people do.

As a former Montessori educator, I witnessed this sensitivity in many children from a very young age. It became clear to me that for many highly sensitive people and empaths, this trait is simply innate … not a flaw, but a fundamental part of who you are. The good news is that you don’t have to outgrow it or toughen up. You can learn to honor it and thrive with it.

In our mindful therapy sessions, I create a calm, understanding space tailored for sensitive nervous systems. Drawing from over 25 years of personal mindfulness practice, I help you gently build grounding tools, healthy boundaries, and emotional regulation skills so you can stay open-hearted without becoming overwhelmed or burned out.

I blend mindfulness with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered support, and practical strategies to reduce anxiety, manage overstimulation, and release emotional overload. When it feels right, we can also incorporate aspects of functional and integrative health to support your whole body and energy levels.

You deserve to feel safe and empowered in your sensitivity, not exhausted by it.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY FOR CHRONIC ILLNESS AND PAIN

Living with chronic illness or persistent pain is exhausting in ways others often don’t understand. One day you might feel okay, and the next you’re wiped out by fatigue, flares, or the constant mental load of managing symptoms, appointments, medications, and the fear of “what’s next.” You may grieve the life you had before, feel frustrated when people say “you don’t look sick,” or struggle with the emotional weight of uncertainty, isolation, and the daily question: How am I going to keep going like this?

You are not weak, lazy, or “failing” at being sick. You’re carrying a heavy, invisible load, and you deserve support that honors both your body and your spirit.

In our work together, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where your whole experience is seen and respected. Using mindfulness practices I’ve relied on for over 25 years, we’ll gently build tools to help you stay present with your body without becoming overwhelmed by it. I combine this with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and practical, solution-focused strategies to reduce anxiety about the future, manage pain-related stress, reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and reclaim small pockets of peace and agency in your days.

My approach is person-centered and intuitive. When it’s helpful, we can also weave in gentle aspects of functional and integrative health to support your overall well-being. Together we focus on what you need right now, not fixing you, but helping you live more comfortably and meaningfully alongside your condition.

PLAY THERAPY, SAND TRAY THERAPY & MINDFULNESS FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES

As a parent, watching your child struggle can be heartbreaking. Whether they’re dealing with big emotions, anxiety, behavioral challenges, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the world around them, you want to help them feel safe, understood, and resilient again.

I support children and their families through play therapy, sand tray therapy, and mindfulness. These gentle, expressive approaches allow children to process their feelings naturally, even when they don’t have the words to describe what they’re experiencing.

As a former Montessori educator, I’ve always recognized that many children are born highly sensitive or deeply empathic. I create a calm, respectful space where children can feel truly seen.

I have a special focus on:

  • Highly sensitive and empathic children — those who feel everything deeply, get easily overstimulated, absorb others’ emotions, or struggle with boundaries and overwhelm.

  • Children living with chronic illness or pain — who may be coping with fatigue, fear, frustration, medical stress, or the emotional impact of being “different.”

In our work together, we use conversation, art, movement, play, stillness, and music to help your child reconnect with their inner peace, strength, and natural wisdom. Parents are actively involved so the support continues at home.
