Meet Nora

Nora Nova, LPC

“Understanding yourself is a powerful start - change grows from what you do next.”

Life can feel overwhelming and uncertain at times. You may feel stuck or unsure how to move forward - especially if you’re used to managing a lot, showing up for others, and holding yourself to a high standard. On the outside, things may look “together,” while internally they feel unsustainable. It would be an honor to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.

I work with individuals and couples who want more than just a space to talk - they want to better understand themselves, shift patterns that no longer serve them, and feel more grounded and connected in their lives and relationships.

Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, or ongoing stress, our work will focus on both understanding and action - helping you build on your strengths while developing practical, effective ways to move forward.

With an approach that blends directness, warmth, and a touch of humor, I ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective, and help you stay focused on what matters. Therapy with me is active and intentional, with the goal of helping you create change not just in insight, but in your day-to-day life.

Who I work with

I integrate research-based and evidence-informed practices to help adults and couples navigate relationship difficulties, life transitions, and high levels of stress. Many of my clients are balancing significant responsibilities (professionally and personally) and are looking for more clarity and balance.

For individuals, this may look like difficulty slowing down, feeling overwhelmed, or managing competing demands while staying connected to yourself. For couples, it often shows up as recurring conflict, communication breakdowns, or a growing sense of disconnection despite efforts to improve things. Together, we focus on understanding these patterns and creating meaningful, sustainable shifts in how you relate - to yourself and to each other.

I also specialize in ADHD and OCD, helping clients develop clear, practical strategies to manage symptoms and improve daily functioning. As someone with an immigrant background, I bring a nuanced understanding of identity, change, and resilience to my work.
