Meet Jannelle

Jannelle Sanchez, LSW

“You are your best thing.” — Toni Morrison, Beloved

I believe every person already possesses the strength they need to heal. Sometimes life experiences, anxiety, trauma, or self-doubt can make it difficult to access that strength, but healing begins when we reconnect with the parts of ourselves, we may have lost touch with.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and intentional. I’ll meet you with compassion while also being the kind of therapist who isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and help you move toward meaningful change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and create lasting growth.

I view mental health through a holistic lens, recognizing the connection between our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and nervous system. Using research-based modalities and evidence-informed practices, I help clients explore not only what is happening in their minds, but also how stress and life experiences show up in their bodies. Together, we’ll develop practical tools to regulate your nervous system, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with yourself in ways that feel sustainable.

I especially enjoy working with individuals who are ready for growth but feel held back by anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, or imposter syndrome. Whether you’re navigating a career change, entering a new chapter of life, pursuing a big goal, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, therapy can be a space to understand what’s getting in the way and build the confidence and tools to move forward.

I don’t believe growth comes from having all the answers; it comes from building the confidence to keep showing up, even when things feel uncertain.

Beginning therapy takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients. Together, we’ll create a space where you can reconnect with your strengths, gain deeper self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and authentic. Healing is about remembering that you are, and always have been, your best thing.
