Therapy for High-Achieving Perfectionists
Therapy, at its best, goes beyond managing symptoms. It creates space for you to experience yourself, your relationships, and your life in a new and more connected way.
You may be capable, thoughtful, and self-aware. On the outside, your life probably looks successful and well-organized. Yet inside, you often feel overwhelmed, tense, exhausted, or never quite “enough” , no matter how much you accomplish. Many perfectionists spend years trying to understand their struggles on their own and feel deeply frustrated that insight alone hasn’t created real change.
In our work together, we gently uncover the patterns that fuel perfectionism …the harsh inner critic, all-or-nothing thinking, fear of failure, over-responsibility, and the constant pressure to do more and be more. Once these patterns become clear, it becomes possible to respond to them differently and create lasting, sustainable change.
This practice is especially supportive for perfectionists who are navigating:
Persistent anxiety, overthinking, and internal tension
High self-pressure and burnout
Difficulty with emotional regulation and feeling overwhelmed
Harsh self-criticism and fear of making mistakes
Relationship challenges caused by perfectionism (emotional distance, control, or people-pleasing)
Life transitions where perfectionism becomes even more intense
If you’re a perfectionist who is ready to quiet the inner critic, ease the constant pressure, and finally feel at peace with yourself, this may be the right space for you.
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and informed by attachment-based perspectives. It is structured yet flexible, combining clarity, depth, and practical tools tailored to your needs, pace, and goals.
This is thoughtful, direct, and respectful work for individuals, couples, and adolescents (15+) who are ready to engage more deeply with themselves and create meaningful change.
If you’re looking for therapy that honors both your strengths and your struggles, you’re in the right place.
