Meet Dhvani

Dhvani Patel, LCSW

"Healing begins when we feel safe enough to show up as our full selves—not the version shaped by expectations, but the one rooted in authenticity, self-compassion, and connection."

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the pressure to meet everyone else's expectations while losing sight of their own needs. I also work with couples navigating communication difficulties, conflict, life transitions, parenting, and patterns that leave them feeling disconnected. Whether you're seeking support as an individual or as a couple, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.

I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville and have spent the past 10 years helping individuals and couples strengthen relationships, build healthier coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person's unique experiences and goals.

My approach is warm, culturally responsive, and rooted in curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we'll explore the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped you while identifying practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. I believe lasting change happens when we better understand ourselves, develop self-compassion, and feel supported enough to try new ways of relating to ourselves and others.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, parenting stress, and the impact of cultural or family expectations. I also support couples who want to improve communication, deepen emotional connection, rebuild trust, and create healthier relationship patterns. My goal is to create an environment where every client feels respected, heard, and accepted for who they are.

I look forward to supporting you as you work toward greater balance, healing, and emotional well-being.
