Healing and self-discovery are incredibly important, but they can also be tremendously daunting. We often find ourselves going around the obstacles we face until there is nowhere left to go but within. 

As a counseling intern, my aim is to create a space of comfort and safety where clients can explore and uncover all facets of themselves and be met with compassion, genuine interest, and support. Our stories and relationships are complex, and it takes time to understand our inner workings before we may see the desired changes in our lives.

My approach to therapy is one of collaboration and authenticity. I enjoy working with individuals and couples navigating identity development, racial identity, life transitions, relationship challenges, and intersectional dilemmas. You are the expert on your life, and my aim is to help you through your journey; whether that means navigating unhelpful patterns, challenging beliefs that no longer serve you, or exploring your experiences as a marginalized person in a world that can be unaccommodating and even oppositional.

I strive to have an environment where you know that our sessions are a space dedicated to you and your needs. Being vulnerable isn’t easy, but with openness and consistency, it can become natural and even routine. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do; only you know the answers. My aim is to help you through the process of discovery and finding those answers that feel right to you and allow you to live the life you desire.
