“I whole-heartedly trust that individuals and couples have an inherent capacity to heal and grow.”
Hi! I’m Jess, and I’m a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’m thrilled you are exploring starting or continuing your mental health journey. This work can be so beautiful, but it can also, of course, be really intimidating. My aim is to provide a warm, supportive space where we can lead with curiosity, invite in humor, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
But, before I ask you to consider opening up with me, it feels only fair to share some more about myself. I hold a Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. In conjunction with my graduate studies, I have received additional training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT). My approach is holistic considering the mind, body, and relationships that come together to make you all that you are. I believe we all have many parts. Though those parts may not always have positive impacts, their intentions are pure and protective. My hope is that, through our time together, we learn more about your parts you love and those you would prefer to experience less intensely. I whole-heartedly trust that individuals and couples have an inherent capacity to heal and grow when they are provided a safe place to do so. It would be an absolute pleasure to connect, so we can co-create one together.
Who I work with:
I enjoy working with a wide array of individuals and couples and feel particularly drawn to work with adult children of emotionally immature parents, survivors narcissistic abuse, complex/relational traumas, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions, as well as couples looking to deepen intimacy and improve communication. As a former advertising executive, I am also eager to support those navigating the complexities of corporate workplaces and career transitions.
