"Therapy helps us to connect more deeply with ourselves and with others…it helps us to heal, to grow, and to find a positive way forward."
Therapy helps us to connect more deeply with ourselves and with others. It offers us a space to reflect on what we’ve been through and where we’re going; who we are and who we're becoming. It is a journey of self-exploration that helps us to heal, to grow, and to find a positive way forward.
I am here to accept you as you are, to be real with you, and to walk with you toward a more authentic and rewarding life. My presence is warm and calm, and my approach to therapy is humanistic, meaning that, above all else, I value building a genuine, human connection with you. It is through the comfort and safety of this connection that we will gently untangle the knots that you carry inside you, freeing you to move forward in ways that feel true and right for you. Along the way, I will help you to deepen your self-awareness, make space for your emotions, and feel more at peace with who you are and how you fit into this world. I believe in a conversational style of therapy that is flexible and holistic, and where your own intuition serves as our primary compass.
Meeting with a therapist can feel like a big and vulnerable step, because it is. Most who take the step, however, find it to be meaningful and well worth it. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lonely, or feeling the sting of old wounds, you don’t have to carry it alone. I look forward to supporting you in every way I can.
Who I Work With:
I am passionate about working with adults of all genders who are seeking help with depression, anxiety, self-identity, trauma, life transitions, and existential concerns (more often than not, these issues are intertwined). My added lens as a man also gives me a nuanced understanding of the unique mental health challenges that men face in today’s world.
With respect to couples therapy, I tend to work with pre-marital and newlywed couples who are looking to improve their communication, deepen their emotional connection, and/or navigate a life transition.
