Online: Silencing your Inner Critic

Silencing your Inner Critic

It is part of the human condition to judge ourselves for "not being good enough". We all do it in one situation another. We criticize ourselves mercilessly about not being good enough parents, partners, workers, creatives, adventurers, not fit enough, not loved enough, not rich enough! In a world of self criticism, there's always more and there's always better.

But, though we often use our inner critic as a motivator, it prevents us from reaching our goals, acknowledging our strengths and experiencing pleasure. In this group, using mindful self compassion, you'll learn how to connect more lovingly with yourself. We'll work through why and when our inner critic pops up and tools to overcome it so you can live a more full and joyous life.

What to expect:

-Information on the origins of negative self talk

-Relaxation techniques for stress and anxiety

-Tools to successfully use self compassion

-Journaling prompts to take home

-A more hopeful outlook

When will we meet:

October, 6th at 7pm EST

Cost:

$15
